Elder’s Outreach USA (Part 4B): Pastoral Visit 2025 TLF Sacramento Chapter

The Lord’s Flock Sacramento Chapter welcomes Sis. Techie ‘Soar’ Rodriguez (Elder-Founder and Vision Holder) and Judith Almendrala, for a pastoral visit last March 7, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Elk Grove, California. The gathering, which began at 7:30 PM, was a spiritually enriching experience for all who attended.

The evening commenced with the community coming together to praise and worship the Lord, lifting their voices in songs of gratitude and adoration. This time of worship prepared the hearts of those in attendance to receive God’s word and set a reverent tone for the night’s teaching. During the assembly, Sis. Techie delivered a profound teaching on “The Mystery of Unanswered Prayers,” exploring reasons why some prayers seem to go unanswered despite persistent supplication. She emphasized that sin, particularly unforgiveness, could create barriers between individuals and God, disrupting the connection and leading to a “dead zone” where prayers are not heard.

She highlighted that sin destroys our relationship with God, as exemplified by Adam and Eve’s expulsion from paradise following their disobedience. Additionally, she noted that harboring unforgiveness is a significant hindrance to answered prayers, as it shuts off the power of prayer and blocks God’s graciousness. Drawing from the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, she underscored the importance of forgiving others as God has forgiven our sins, and there should be no limit to our forgiveness.

Following the session, the community came together for a potluck dinner, sharing not only food but also fellowship and heartfelt conversations. The evening was marked by a spirit of unity, gratitude, and spiritual growth, leaving everyone uplifted and encouraged in their walk of faith.

To God be the glory!
