Elder’s Outreach USA, Part 4: Dublin Chapter | September 19-20, 2025

The Lords Flock (TLF) Elder-Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, along with Judith Almendrala (Outreach Steward) arrived from Los Angeles Airport to Dublin, California on September 19,2025 for their back-to-back activity of the newly formed TLF Dublin Chapter. The welcome group, headed by the Chapter Stewards: couple, Melchor & Maureen Garcia, and Corazon Siguenza, excitedly received the outreach team as they assisted them to settle for their two-day visit focused on the  Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) and the first Chapter Anniversary.

Sept 20,2025:  Spirit Empowerment Seminar

A major milestone marked The Lord’s Flock Dublin (California) chapter as it held the first Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) at the Kids Klub, St Raymond Church. The seminar was attended by thirty-nine (39) adults and fourteen (14) youth seekers. The morning started with a powerful praise and worship led by Bro Derick Santiago (TLF Head Steward) with the Psalm Ministry followed by Bro Raymond De Guia (Bakersfield chapter), moderator, who gave the welcome remarks.

Sis Techie “Soar” Rodriguez delivered a powerful Spirit-filled teaching. She discussed God’s love, forgiveness, repentance, and the application of the Ten Commandments to daily life. In the same way, she shared examples of her personal encounter with the Lord including the funny ones which elicited laughter among seekers. She also enumerated and exemplified   the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how these can be used to deepen their faith in the Almighty.

Moreover, the participants were enthusiastic and responsive with Soar’s prompting all through out the day. At the same time, they were also listening intently to her teachings. Similarly, the community was blessed to be supported by other TLF chapters: Bakersfield stewards, Sis Marlyn Santos and Bro. Gerard Parayno; Sacramento stewards, Sis. Lisa Santiago, Bro. David Santiago, and Sis Rosette Agustin; and Daly City stewards, Sis. Jenny Joaquin and Bro Vic Fabros.

Meanwhile, the youth had their separate seminar in the Science room led by the Sacramento youth leaders, Bro David Santiago (steward) and Sis Danielle Santiago with the Daly City youth leaders, Sis Denden Totanes and Sis Juno Totanes. Consequently, the youth had fun and meaningful activities as they learned more about their faith in their generation.

Furthermore, one of the highlights of the seminar was Soar’s request to the participants to renounce their sins and accept the Holy Spirit to take control of their lives. The mood turned solemn as soft sobs were seen and heard echoing inside the venue. These were cries of repentance and experience of God’s unconditional love. Additionally, the other members of the different chapters (Sacramento, Bakersfield and Daly City) were praying over them at the same time. There was an exchange of hugs and smiles in the end. Indeed, the Holy Spirit moved and touched the participants who realized that they were once lost and were brought back to God!

TLF Dublin Chapter First Anniversary

Immediately after the SES, the community celebrated its first anniversary! The room was filled with fun and warm camaraderie as raffles and food were blessed and shared among members. Dance and song presentations were performed by the Dublin, CA members. Then, The Small World and New Gen sang The Great Jubilee Song, while the adults danced their hearts for the Lord with pop cultures through the decades. Other TLF chapters from Sacramento, Elk Grove, Bakersfield, and Daly City also showcased their talents.

Various TLF chapters in California honored the Lord through songs and dances. St. Raymond Church’s new pastor, Fr. Mark Ruiz, joined the celebration and encouraged the chapter’s Next Gen to continue accepting Christ into their lives and allow His presence in times of joys and challenges. He further motivated the young Catholics to become a sign of hope in the world by staying connected to Christ through prayer, celebrating mass, and reading of scriptures. Then, he blessed the community and the next Gen members.

Lastly, the former St. Raymond pastor, Fr. Erick Villa, capped the chapter’s anniversary through words of blessings. He prayed for all the members of the TLF Dublin chapter with strength and guidance of the Holy Spirit to continue their mission of spreading God’s words to the community.  The TLF Dublin first anniversary did not only mark the chapter’s milestones to instill its core values through teaching the saving love of Jesus, but it also served as a living testimony of the power of collective faith and devotion to Christian faith.

To God be the glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
