One of the highlights of the Elder’s visit was the TLF UAE Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) held on March 29, 2025, Gremoli Hall, St. Mary’s Church, Dubai. The event was attended by 170 participants, 93 were first-time attendees. The program offered a fresh encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit, conducted by the beloved Elder-Founder, Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez.
The Outreach Team, led by Elder-Founder Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez and Co-Founder Bro. Froilan Hong, accompanied by Mel Capistrano, Josephine Cruz, and Faustina Ng received a warm welcome, including new members from Dubai, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaima.
A spirited praise and worship session, led by Jovelyn Salazar, uplifted the SES participants. Then, Soar delivered an inspiring talk, skillfully weaving personal anecdotes and biblical truths into a message of empowerment that resonated deeply with the attendees.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a profound transformative encounter with the Holy Spirit, reflected in the heartfelt attendees’ testimonials was the true essence of the seminar.
Joanne Marie from the Abu Dhabi Chapter described her journey with the word “Redeemed.” She shared, “Despite my sins and frustrations, I had a vision where God gently lifted my face and said, ‘I am here with you all along.’” Indeed, the seminar provided her with a renewed sense of faith with clarity and purpose.
Danica Rose (from the Dubai Chapter) who attended the SES for the first time described her transformative experience in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as a divine encounter. Moreover, she was deeply moved by Soar’s life story—a testimony of faith and transformation.
Marion Dumdum from the Jebel Ali Chapter expressed, “The presence of the Holy Spirit was tangible. I gained deeper trust in the Lord and strengthened my commitment as a member. Despite my frequent hospital visits and trials, I am comforted knowing He never abandoned me.”
Michael and Lorraine Fabia from the Ras Al Khaimah Chapter shared, “The testimonies deeply resonated with us. Challenges are inevitable, but Soar reminded us that God always takes care of everything. We felt empowered to move forward in our spiritual journey.”
The SES concluded with a solemn and hopeful closing prayer. This extraordinary event revitalized the participants, uplifting their spirits and strengthening their commitment to their faith and the transformative lessons they had embraced.
The Spirit Empowerment Seminar 2025 served as a powerful testament to the grace of God and the unifying force of spiritual growth. It brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by their shared dedication to empowerment and renewal.
