Elder’s Outreach UAE: (Part 1) Arrival, Praise and Worship, and Spiritual Empowerment Seminar, November 6-11, 2025

The TLF United Arab Emirates (UAE) community was thrilled to see the TLF Elders and the outreach team arrive at Dubai Airport, Terminal 1 for their six-day community chapter visit from November 6-11, 2025. UAE stewards, led by Lourdes Inong, Andrew Cabardo, Jennifer De Castro, Andrew Cabardo, and Agnes Pilapil, warmly welcomed our Elder-Founders, Tatay Bob and Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, with co-founder Bro. Froilan Hong, and the outreach team: Mel Capistrano, Dinah Sario, Baet Ng, and Ressy Pichay. The Outreach team led the Praise and Worship, Spirit Empowerment Seminar, and celebrated with the UAE community Anniversary, as well as the Leaders’ Fellowship.

November 6, 2025: Dinner and a Quick Catch-up

After a quick check-in at the Flora Creek Hotel in Deira, the Outreach team and the welcome team headed to their favorite spot for a welcome dining at Nando’s restaurant. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up on life and share some laughs. After a delicious meal, the welcome party sent the Outreach team to their hotel for a well-deserved rest.

November 7, 2025: Praise and Worship Night

On November 7, the whole UAE Chapter (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jebel Ali and Ras Al Kaima) came together in the basement of St. Francis of Assisi Church for a wonderful evening with our dear Elder Founder, Sis. Soar “Techie” Rodriguez. The night kicked off with a warm welcome for the Outreach team, who were introduced to the community one by one—Tatay Bob, Bro Froi, Mel Capistrano, Dinah Sario, Baet Ng, and Ressy Pichay.

To get things started, Jovy Salazar, the Psalm and Koros Ministry initiated a powerful praise and worship, setting the stage for God’s presence to work its powerful grace to the community. They were thankful to God that the church let them gather and worship at the basement as both the Dubai and Jebel Ali churches were packed with church activities. Moreover, Mayang Cabardo’s testimony reminded everyone of God’s faithfulness through answered prayers and divine provision. In her inspiring talk on the Power of the Word, Sis. Techie reminded everyone that no trial or temptation can overcome a heart rooted in Scripture, echoing the verse from Joshua 1:8: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night… then you will be prosperous and successful.”

After the talk, our beloved Elders spent time with some of our members, offering a quick prayer and blessings as they looked forward to the Spirit Empowerment Seminar. Truly, the evening was a fascinating reminder that the Word of God has remained our greatest source of power and victory.

November 8, 2025: Spirit Empowerment Seminar

On the third day of the outreach, Soar, the Elder-Founder, led the chapter Spirit Empowerment Seminar (SES) at St. Mary’s Church Parish Rooms 5 & 6, just above the Mini Hall. About one hundred fifty (150) members came to the spiritual event, with seventy of them joining for the first time. It was a special moment for the chapter, as it was the first time in twelve years that we were so blessed to have our Elders, Tatay Bob and Soar, with the co-founder, Bro. Froilan Hong. They were supported by the other members of the Outreach team—Sis. Baet, Sis. Dinah, Sis. Resse, and Bro. Mel—whose presence gave us strength and encouragement throughout the day.

Lourdes (Dhes) Inong, UAE Steward, welcomed everyone and provided a brief introduction to the community. Then, the Koros Ministry, led by Theresa De Jesus, sang powerful praise and worship songs, while everyone joined in with singing and dancing. Further, the intercession ministry also prayed for the event, since the rooms were small and not large enough for all the attendees. One of the reserved rooms had to close early, which meant the spiritual activity didn’t have enough time to fully unfold. Meanwhile, the children of the community were taken cared of at Rem Sagarino’s home near the parish, managed by the Small World, NewGen, and Solo Ministries.

As Soar facilitated the SES, everyone opened their hearts and minds to God, and listened to how she was redeemed by God despite her sinful life. She also talked about how God saved her marriage with Tatay Bob. In the same way, Tatay Bob shared how the Holy Spirit could work in our life and help us grow as matured Christians. Additionally, Soar reminded us of the struggle with the Holy Spirit which meant complete surrender and confession to receive God’s blessings. Also, Bro. Froilan Hong shared his personal testimony as a renewed and empowered Christian, delivering Spirit-filled and deeply moving messages that touched everyone’s hearts.

Later, the UAE community ably assisted the Outreach team during the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The spirit-filled atmosphere gave the community a sense of God’s forgiveness and love for everyone. Many participants shared their testimonies about the activity. In particular, Chesca (Newgen – Abu Dhabi), a young woman, inspired everyone by sharing about Soar’s books—The Power of the Word, Mannah, and Grow Digest—passionately testifying how these spiritual texts had greatly strengthened her spiritual journey. Truly, her heartfelt sharing moved many to tears.

As for the SES rooms, everything was extended until the very last hour, which was God’s spiritual provision for the community. The activity was extended a little more, where the Outreach team took time to personally talk to the participants and the whole community. The Elders blessed and counseled everyone who sought guidance and healing. Indeed, God has provided those who seek Him, and His presence was given through the community and the Outreach team, making it a truly remarkable day for everyone.

To God be the glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
