Staying true to the Lord’s prophetic vision given to The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Elder – Founder, Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez flew to Hong Kong anew to provide TLF seekers the opportunity to encounter and experience the Living God in a new and powerful way.
Friday, July 11th – Arrival of the Outreach Team
Soar and her Outreach Team members, Bro. Froilan Hong, (Co-Founder), Sis. Lea Tapispisan (Head Steward, Mission Ministry) and Bro. Mel Capistrano (Steward, Mission Ministry), were graciously welcomed by Lari Diaz and Helen Del Mundo, Stewards of Choi Hung Chapters (Saturday and Sunday, respectively).
Saturday, July 12th – Sprit Empowerment Seminar at TLF Choi Hung Chapter, Holy Family Parish.
Stewards Susan Galon, Lari Diaz, and Natalie Imbang, Coordinator, together with the TLF- HK members, cordially received the Outreach Team at Holy Family Parish. After a brief introduction of the members of the team, Soar talked about God’s desire for a loving relationship with us (His children). She focused on God’s Love (His inherent nature), His ardent invitation to us to experience and eventually to reciprocate His love. Moreover, she highlighted the truth that “God chose and called us.”
Then, she was prompted by the Holy Spirit to play the song “You are Mine”; she directed the participants to imagine God facing them and appreciate Him for a loving and intimate relationship. She further encouraged them to feel God’s unconditional love (mercy and compassion). Consequently, she approached the ten (10) candidates one by one, prayed over them and lovingly embraced them.
Likewise, the presence of the Holy Spirit manifested among the candidates who wept uncontrollably particularly when another song “Here I Am” was played. At that moment, Soar requested the participants to share their experience. One of them boldly shared that she saw a vision of Jesus surrounded with bright light. Also, most of the participants shared that they felt God’s warm, comforting embrace and the assurance that they were not forsaken nor abandoned.
Finally, before administering the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Soar also enumerated the Four Spiritual Laws. Indeed, the ten (10) seekers had a meaningful renewal that marked their spiritual birthday!
Sunday, July 13th – Sprit Empowerment Seminar at Notre Dame Parish, Kowloon.
Similarly, Soar and her Mission Team were welcomed with excitement by the Stewards of the five (5) Chapters: Christine Majhen, Notre Dame; Dolly Sanchez, St. Alfred; Chello Anog, St. Anthony; Lourdes Tuzon, Sts. Peter and Paul; and Helen Del Mundo, Choi Hung Sunday.
The SES started with a video presentation to introduce the main speaker, Soar, followed by a quick self-introduction of her Outreach Team. As a prelude, Soar explained the Four Spiritual Laws, fundamental truths, that would assist the participants to understand the significance of intimacy with God. She further noted the lordship of Jesus who has the authority over everything even in all aspects of life. Moreover, she shared her and Tatay Bob’s amazing love story.
Lastly, Soar ministered to the 51 candidates the Baptism of the Spirit. She requested them to forgive their sins, surrender their lives to God and to receive Jesus as the personal Lord and Saviour. Indeed, it was a life changing experience: a glorious rebirth and a new life in Christ.
Monday, July 14th – Return Flight to Manila
Since it was a working day, only Helen Del Mundo was able to send-off the Outreach Team. Certainly, the Lord is highly gratified for another duly accomplished pastoral work of our Elder-Founder and her team.
