ELDER’S OUTREACH EUROPE (Part 1): Madrid Chapter May 20 – 21, 2025

The Lord’s Flock (TLF) Elder-Founder and Vision-Holder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez, accompanied by Judith Almendrala (Outreach Steward), embarked on her four-week outreach to Europe on May 20, 2025.  Before departing from Manila, TLF leaders and members delightfully spent a despedida dinner with Soar and Judith, wished them well, and offered prayers for good health, a safe journey, and a successful outreach. Moreover, Joy Molina (Las Vegas Chapter and Europe Steward) would meet them in Madrid regarding a series of agenda:  pastoral visits, Facing & Retreat 2025 (consecration of leaders) and Spirit Empowerment Seminars in Madrid, Basingstoke-UK, Rome and Bonn-Germany, and Palma de Mallorca.

Madrid, 20 May 2025

Soar and Judith arrived at the Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barnajas Airport, Spain on May 20, 2025, after traveling for more than twenty hours (with a layover in Dubai). Unfortunately, without wheelchair assistance (as promised by the flight attendant), Soar together with Judith walked desperately on a steep incline for several minutes until Soar got so tired. Upon reaching the information desk, the staff apologized unceasingly, commended them for their energy/endurance and jokingly requested them to feel at ease at this unexpected situation. After waiting for two hours, they were assisted to the baggage claim area. Then, they proceeded to Terminal 4 where the Madrid Chapter, led by AJ Velasco (Madrid Chapter Steward) and Marvin Corpuz (Chapter Coordinator) excitedly welcomed them and drove them to their hotel.

In Hotel Moderno, they were met by Joy Molina who had just arrived (after travelling for seventeen hours) from the USA and would accompany them during the entire Europe outreach. The Madrid Chapter members also eagerly greeted Soar and her team with warm hugs.

Thereafter, the group went to Jollibee (two doors away) for a quick snack and fellowship; they also discussed their chapter concerns while Soar provided solutions (to every issue).  Everyone was absorbed in the meeting that no one realized Jollibee was about to close. They decided to go back to Hotel Moderno where they continued their meeting; the chapter leaders and members also shared their personal health issues and Soar prayed for their healing and restoration.

Madrid, 21 May 2025

On the second day, the Madrid Chapter members were led by Stewards AJ Velasco and Letty Matedios for their meeting with Soar and brought home-cooked food. However, there was no place in the hotel for fellowship, so they went to Jollibee again where the staff graciously accommodated them.

Wherever Soar went, she never failed to evangelize strangers.  While walking to their table, she stopped to greet a fellow Filipina, Ana Lissa Franco; the simple hello led to a meaningful conversation and an invitation to join the TLF Madrid Chapter. A second encounter happened with a friendly Filipina staff, Rebbie Campano, who exchanged pleasantries with them; Soar blessed and prayed over her.

Subsequently, Soar spiritually equipped the leaders and members. She shared her teachings, relevant stories and testimonies about what the Lord has done and will do in relation to their chapter issues.

Soar concluded her Madrid Chapter outreach by praying for them.  All were filled with joy, their faith renewed and they looked forward to what the Lord would do for them in 2025.

To God be the Glory!

VERSE FOR THE DAY

so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
