The Lord’s Flock Dubai Coordinators hosted a small get-together and welcome party for TLF Elder Sis. Techie “Soar” Rodriguez and her Mission team, Co-Founder Bro. Froilan Hong, Sis. Lea Tapispisan, Bro. Mel Capistrano at the “Hot Palayok”, Karama Dubai. It was attended by UAE leaders and workers from Dubai, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Kaimah. The purpose of the fellowship night was to give Soar the opportunity to have an intimate encounter with the TLF leaders and workers and to give her advise to them.
Soar shared her message to all and this was followed by a “salo-salo” buffet of pinoy-themed street food and all-time favorite Pinoy desserts. After dinner, TLF Dubai coordinators showcased their talents with songs and dances to entertain everyone. TLF Dubai team presented the Mission Team with their welcome gifts and gave a surprise honoring for Soar’s and Tatay Bob’s wedding anniversary, as well as advance birthday greetings to Bro. Froilan.
To show their appreciation, Soar and Bro Froi thrilled the UAE team with a song number. Karaoke numbers followed with Sis Lea and Bro Mel joining the singing and dancing in camaraderie withn all the Chapter members. All the TLF Dubai members took turns in having their pictures taken with Soar and Brother Froi.
The night ended with Soar’s blessing and a group picture. All felt energized and eager to face the entire TLF membership on the 3-day of the 10th year TLF UAE anniversary.
