The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community, UAE Chapter was excited to start their Lenten Season with the visit of beloved Elder-Founder Techie “Soar” Rodriguez. Sis Techie and the Mission Team came to Dubai with a week full of activities to IGNITE the passion for the Lord of the members, guests, and most especially, the 2024 leaders of the TLF UAE.
The Dubai Team, headed by Stewards Lourdes Inong, Agnes Pilapil, Jennifer De Castro, and Paterno Inong, welcomed Soar with joyful anticipation as she will be tending to the flock and checking on the chapter’s spiritual journey. Soar and the mission team arrived in Dubai on February 13 from different locations: Sis Techie and Tobit Flancia (Steward, New Gen), came straight from Poland after successfully participating in the Global 2033 Leaders Conference; Carla Bugnosen (Steward, Evangelize) and Remy Sisteberio (Steward, General Assembly) came from the Philippines; and Justin Paquing (Worship Leader) arrived from Saudi Arabia.
Soar’s pastoral visit comes with special activities for all the members and guests: Fellowship with Singles Ministry, Fellowship with the Leaders & Coordinators, Prayer meeting with TLF Members and guests, Meeting with the Small World and Teens ministries, and Annual Spiritual Retreat. Moreover, the highlight of the visit was FACING 2024 – the appointment and anointing of the leaders and coordinators for the year.
The Dubai welcome team treated the Manila team to a quick Chinese dinner at Wemart Food Court near the hotel.
Finally, the Dubai Team lifted a special prayer of thanksgiving and blessing that all the activities would be well and filled with God’s presence.
