On a beautiful Saturday in the City by the Bay, San Francisco, last October 28,2023, the Elder-Founder of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community, Sis Techie “Soar” Rodriguez arrived to visit the Daly City Chapter. She was accompanied by Sis Alma Torres (Steward, Serve Ministry) and they were met by some of the Chapter’s members with so much excitement and enthusiasm! This was followed by a fellowship and lunch with more members joining in at a local restaurant. Soar made a much-appreciated stop as part of her 5-week USA Mission, to share a teaching with the Daly Chapter and catch-up with the flock.
In the evening, Soar came to the Piro Hall at St Andrews Church for the Chapter’s weekly Praise & Worship. She gave a powerful talk about “Obedience” wherein she emphasized the importance of following God completely. She compared the attitude of Jonah and Daniel and how the latter set a good example of true obedience without compromises. This also brought a much-needed reminder that God works in favor of those who listen and obey His instructions. After the talk, Soar prayed over a sick member and got reunited with some members who she had not seen for a while. Her compassion and humility for others is worth emulating. The gathering ended with another fellowship over potluck which was lovingly prepared by the members. The night was filled with hugs, smiles, tears of joy and reconciliation.
Indeed, God’s grace and love was overwhelmingly felt by everyone! All blessings & praises to God! Alleluia!
