CONCERT OF PRAYER March 29, 2025

The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community held its first Concert of Prayer last March 29, 2025 after the Saturday Worship Service.  It is a community solemn prayer participated by leaders and members of the TLF community to worship God, to thank Him for His blessings to the community, and to seek His guidance, strength, and empowerment.

Pastoral Ministry Head Steward, Raymond Nobleza, the  moderator of the event, explained the sequence of the prayers: General Opening Prayer, Intercessory Prayers, Warfare Prayers, Cycle of Prayers among small groups, and the Jericho March as the  concluding prayer.

The event which started with the Enthronement of the Blessed Sacrament was led by the Holiness Ministry.  Bro Raymund, initiated the Opening Prayer seeking the presence of the Holy Spirit, entrusting the activity to God for His divine intervention.

The Execom leaders led each prayer. With genuine faith, the assembly lifted the concerns of the community to God.  The Psalm Ministry sang worship songs after each prayer. The Intercessory Prayers included:

  1. Prayer for Elders-Founders,
  2. Prayer for Leaders and Members
  3. Prayer for Missions
  4. Prayer for the Heritage Construction
  5. Fund-raising Projects
  6. Prayer for Power to Witness
  7. Prayer for the New Generation
  8. Prayer for the Success of Events in the Lords Flock

Thereafter, the assembly prayed the Warfare Prayers with great power, storming heaven and claiming answered prayers. As followers of Christ, the community believes that God has given them authority and power, “that we shall tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm us” (Luke 10:19).

On the other hand, the Cycle of Prayers, enabled the members to lift their personal prayers through small groupings of four.  Each one in the group prayed over the requests in cycle. The prayer requests were collected later by the Intercessory Ministry to be included in their prayers.

The Jericho March concluded the activity, inspired by Joshua 6:1–27 – “the walls of Jericho fell after the Israelites marched around the city walls once a day for six days, seven times on the seventh day, with the priests blowing their horns daily and the people shouting on the last day.”

Hence, the community believed that marching in circle around the sanctuary seven times, with chanting and dancing, shouting with joy, and, singing praise songs with the Psalm Ministry, would break   down the “walls” (challenges, hindrances, trials). After the joyful march, the assembly adjourned with hope in their hearts. They claimed God heard and already answered their prayers. Finally, they knew that God would bring success and victory to the   TLF community.

To God be the Glory!
