The first leg of Sis Techie (Sor) Rodriguez’ May2023 Mission started in the United Kingdom. The stewards of the Basingstoke and Winchester Chapters showered Sor with love and tears of joy upon seeing her for the first time in nearly four years.
After learning that Sor did not have a companion on her Barcelona to London flight, Sis Liza Franco (Steward of Winchester Chapter) flew to Barcelona to accompany her during the long layover and on the flight. She shared, “Seeing Soar for the first time, I felt extremely honored to be with her again and to care for her. I felt her wisdom and unconditional love, and I missed her so much!”
The Lord’s Flock Basingstoke leaders came in full force to welcome Sor at the London Heathrow Airport: Bro. Mark delos Reyes, Bro. Dominic Garcia, Bro John Napugan, their families, and Sis Monalisa Fortaleza ecstatically welcomed Soar with hugs and kisses. Sis. Glenda Serafica was glad to be Sor’s handmaid. From there, they proceeded to the home of Bro. Mark & Sis Grace Miranda, and shared a feast of favorite Filipino dishes. Indeed, it was a heartwarming reunion. To God be the Glory!
