COMMUNITY PANTRY

Saint Jude Thaddeus Quasi Parish launched the third Community Pantry initiative at Cancio Park on May 14, 2021, at 6:15 am. Father Joseph Matitu was very thankful to The Lord’s Flock Catholic Charismatic Community for the cash assistance (Ps 12, 000) and the bag of groceries, as they were able to share the goodness of God and stamp a sweet smile to the worthy recipients.
The parish was able to distribute 250 bags to their needy brothers and sisters in the community. Each bag contained three kilos of rice, three cans of sardines, one can of luncheon meat, six pieces of fresh eggs, vegetables, four packs of instant noodles, five sachets of 3-in-1 instant coffee, and biscuits. They also served each recipient with hot and delicious champorado.
Truly, God’s almighty power showers His blessings to those in need in unforeseen situations. The Lord will never fail His children. Trust Him deeply and earnestly while He performs the miracles in your life. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Philippians 4:6).
To God be the glory!
